About this tool
Warning levels are copied from the official NBRO landslide early-warning bulletins published by the Disaster Management Centre (DMC), division by division, as issued. This tool is not an official service. Always follow instructions from local authorities.
"Steep-slope stretches" are places where the terrain beside the road is steeper than 30°, measured from satellite elevation data. That is not the road gradient, and it is not an official landslide hazard map.
Routes are precomputed from OpenStreetMap and drive times are rough estimates. The tool does not know about road closures, traffic, or damage.
