Thin or low cloudTall storm cloud
This shows clouds, not rain. Clear sky doesn’t always mean dry, and some rain falls from low cloud that hardly shows. It isn’t a warning.
How to read it
Grey is ordinary cloud. Colour marks tall storm clouds: the brighter, the taller.
Warnings
For official warnings, see Today (NBRI landslide warnings), the Irrigation Department and DMC (117) for floods, and the Met Department for weather.
